After a long journey full of classes, late-night train rides, papers upon papers, a renewed appreciation for Starbucks, library shut-ins, and many moments of prayer, I am going to graduate from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law with my Juris Doctor degree.
Due to the current state and condition of our world, my school postponed my graduation to an unknown date in the future. Of course, this was a major setback and disappointment for me because Friday, May 15th would've been the day I started a new year of life while walking across the graduation stage.
So after much thought, I decided the best way to celebrate my birthday and graduation is to spend it with you. (Yes! It's the same day!) Your support and love all these years got me to this point. It's only right that you get a front-row seat.
Join me on Friday, May 15th at 8:00pm EST (7:00pm CST) for a time of celebration, honor, and gratitude. I can't wait to see you.
Thank you to everyone who donated to my birthday fundraiser. We raised over $11,000 in ONE WEEK!! Wow! I'm sure Monique would agree, we are eternally grateful to everyone who donated. I am so happy that my sister-friend will be able to give her full effort to the bar exam this year.
Thank you to everyone who has already blessed me with gifts, monetary and tangible. I am truly humbled by the displays of love. If you would like to do so, here is my information.
